Dahlia ‘Mexican Star’
Dahlia hortensis
Dahlia ‘Mexican Star’ captivates with its star-shaped, vibrant red blooms beautifully contrasted by dark, finely cut foliage. Its light and natural appearance adds an exotic and elegant touch to the garden.
Blooming generously from summer until the first frosts, it attracts pollinators and brightens beds with vivid colour. It is also perfect as a cut flower for airy, colourful bouquets.
Each pack contains 3 organic flower bulbs.
Plant your dahlias immediately after the last frost and no later than the end of May (or early June depending on altitude). Space the plants about 50 cm apart. If spring is dry, don't hesitate to give them some water.
To stimulate the growth of new flowers, it is advisable to remove faded blooms. At the end of the season, it is recommended to dig up the tubers before the first frost, let them dry, and store them in a cool, dry place until the following spring.
