Corn salad, Coquilles de Louviers
Valerianella locusta
The lamb’s lettuce ‘Coquilles de Louviers’ is an old French variety.
It produces rosettes with small, dark green, spoon-shaped leaves. The leaves are crisp, with a typical nutty flavor. This hardy variety tolerates cold well and provides precious greenery throughout the winter. It is harvested from mid-December to the end of February. The plants reach a height of 15 cm and can be grown in pots.
