Verbascum densiflorum
Height reaches up to 200 cm with many yellow blossoms on the tall spike. The flowers are used fresh or dried for cough-relieving teas. Flowering occurs in the second year (biennial) and often remains in the field for years to come (perennial). It’s a very useful native, ornamental, and medicinal plant.
Growing instructions
Sow in July into seedling trays or right into the open land. Transplant in August and space at 50 ✕ 50 cm. Blooms in the second year of growth.
