Corn salad (Lamb's lettuce), Large North Holland
Valerianella locusta
Dutch type variety, with vigorous growth, producing large, long leaves of a deep intense green.
The seeds, large in size, are easy to sow. The plants are easily harvested thanks to their long leaves and offer a very generous yield.
This variety is distinguished by its remarkable winter hardiness, while also being very well suited for fall cultivation. It then produces flavorful, tender, and high-quality leaves.
Growing instructions
Sow from the end of July and into August in rows 10–15 cm apart. Keep weed free. Harvest from winter until spring. Earlier seeding hardly ever bolts. It is ideal to plant into previously harvested beds and double crop.
