Solanum lycopersicum
The 'Balconia' tomato is perfect if you want to grow your own tomatoes, but don't have a lot of space.
It's a bushy plant that grows well in pots on balconies and terraces. At around 30 cm tall, it takes up little space and is easy to maintain. From July to October, it produces numerous bright-red, aromatic cherry tomatoes. They are ideal for salads or grilled.
Growing instructions
Sow in early March into seedling trays in a warm place. Transfer to pots when about 5 cm high. Transplant into the field from May 20 at a distance of 25 ✕ 25 cm. Tip for mixed culture: Basil and parsley intercrop beautifully.
