Growing instructions

Sow from mid-May to early June at a distance of 60 cm distance with about 4 beans in a circle. Seed 2 cm down, but not too deep. As they say, “Beans must hear the bells ringing.” In the centre of the circle place a 2.5 m stake to allow the runner beans to literally run up. These beans respond well to ample compost. Gardeners Tip: Soak seeds for 12 hours in lukewarm chamomile tea before sowing.
