Diverse Species
White lupin is a fabaceae widely used as green manure and forage. Having developed roots that optimize phosphorus absorption, it adapts very well to soils low in this element.
It has attractive white flowers in clusters.
Growing instructions
Direct sowing in the open ground in spring (March-April), when the soil has warmed up. Spacing between rows 30 to 50 cm, and about 10 cm between seeds on the row.
Watering recommended during the sowing period and in case of drought. Weeding at the start of cultivation to promote plant growth.
After flowering, the crop can be cut or shredded on site to enrich the soil.
