Field marigold (annual)
Calendula arvensis
Field Marigold reaches 30 cm in height and blooms from June to November. It forms small yellow flowers, perfect for filling a flowerbed with a thick yellow carpet. As well as being decorative, it's also an excellent cover crop that quickly covers the soil. It can be grown on a balcony or in the ground. Native to Switzerland.

Sow from March to June by broadcasting directly to the field or in rows 30 cm apart.
