Alpine poppy, Grammont
Papaver alpinum rhaeticum
This poppy is used to extreme conditions. At high altitudes, it can grow on poor and rocky soils, and stands out with its bright orange flowers. Each plant can form several stems with a height of up to 30 cm.
Growing instructions
Sow in spring to a place in the garden you wish to beautify right into the field. Do not add compost. It thrives in any sunny location. It is bee friendly and attracts pollinators. Height reaches 60–80 cm depending on location.
