Sow in boxes at a warm location from the middle of April. Transplant to 5x5 cm. Bed out from the 20th of May at a distance of 30x30cm. For balcony culture sow in planters. Continuously harvest the young shoots. Frost-free culture required.

This dainty, narrow-leaved plant has a strong lemon scent. The zesty flavour is refreshing on hot days. It is ideally suited for making iced tea in summer.

Basil-Mix Basil
Who would have thought that basil comes in so many varieties? Our mix includes Thai and Greek basil, red and yellow, as well as lemon basil. A colorful firework of taste and flavor, all in one little seed bag!
Sow mid-april in small pots, about 5-6 seeds per pot. Let germinate at minimum 20°C. Transplant into bigger pots when plants are 4-5cm. Plant outside from mid-May on.

Greek selection z Basil
Tiny, highly aromatic leaves, globular in shape: This is the Greek basil. It completes the flavour of pesto sauce and is an eye-catcher in the Mediterranean herb garden of the Cisalpine mountains. The harvest is done best with a pointy pairs of small scissors. (because who actually owns a golden sickle?)

This pretty basil has narrow green leaves and dark-red stems and flowers. The pleasant aroma gives a touch of cinnamon and anise. It is very popular in Asian cuisine. Height reaches up to 40 cm. The flowers are great for honey production!
