Milk thistle (Annual) Milk thistle

These high plants of 100–150 cm tall have spiky, white spotted leaves. They reveal their purple blossoms from July to August. Used medicinally in times past and stays popular today.

From April to May, sow directly into the open field. Alternatively, transplant seedlings in July and August for autumn. Space 60 ✕ 60 cm apart.
