Looking glass (annual, hibernating) looking glass
In the past the looking glass was commonly found on corn fields. Today it is hard to find due to the usage of herbicides. A pity, because this plant is very delicate. Not only its name but also the dark-violet blossoms show a strong relation to women and the women's movement. Women should plant is more often. Height up to 20cm.
Broad-cast seeds on the spot in autumn or March/April. Grows in every king of open garden soil at sunny locations. No compost needed. Sow together with poppy and cornflower.
