Mixed (biennial) Foxglove, Lady’s glove
These large, purple foxglove flowers give colourful spikes to landscape edges. Height ranges from 150–200 cm. Flowers bloom from June to early July. They are very decorative. Not suitable for consumption, the plant is toxic.
Sow in June in trays and later, transfer to larger pots a 5 ✕ 5 cm apart. In August, transplant to the field at a distance of 35 ✕ 35 cm. Blooming occurs the following year. Direct seeding is also possible.
