This is the mallow you’re looking for: Lovely, graceful, beautiful, from white to red. Each flower is accompanied by a green star in the centre. You see the revealed sepals which show through the edges of the tapering petals. Height ranges from 80–100 cm. Blooming occurs from June to September.
Direct seed in March to April and thin out to 30 cm spacing. Alternatively, sow into seedling trays and transplant strong starts into the open field.
