Okra: The name alone starts to trigger cravings for Asian cuisine. It should not only be a longing. Over the years we searched all over the world for varieties, have tested this one in our climate and thanks to strict selection we generated a successful new breed. Exhilarating pretty flowers turn into green tapered fruits. Let yourself be seduced.
Seeding from middle of March to middle of April, at a temperature of at least 20°C. Cover the seeds with about 2cm of wet sand and keep moist until germination. Prick young seedlings in single pots and only from the middle of May plant in the glass house. Plant distances 50x50cm. Regularly harvest young tender fruits (ca. 10cm long) and prepare according to Asian recipes.
