Winter purslane is rightly becoming more popular. In the cold season, when fresh leafy vegetables and lettuce are rare, it offers an great change on the kitchen table. It is rich in vitamin C and iron. A valuable food item.

Sowing from September in rows at a 10cm distance. Keep weed-free. Harvest the leaves in multiple cuts from November on to April. (Attention do not cut too deep!). Prepare raw like salad or like leafy vegetables such as spinach.
