Wild teasel (annual- to biennial wild plant) wild teasel, fuller's teasel
These stalks that grow up to 200 cm tall hold beautiful purple flowers on an almost thistle-like plant. They attract bumblebees from afar. Their withered stalks help the ecology of your garden as they provide shelter in winter for many beneficial insects.
Sow into trays or directly into the field to let them grow wild in July. Teasel preferes sunny to partially sunny spots. Once they are in the garden, they will reseed themselves. Attention: They are prickly.
