This pretty mixture has spelt, emmer, rye, and associated field flowers such as poppies, cornflower, Venus mirror, Adonis, etc. They are very delicate and pleasing to the eye. This mixture grows a meadow between 20 cm and 2 metres tall (especially the spelt). All the grain associated herbs have disappeared by way of herbicide use. Bring the old country fields back to your land with this lovely seed mix.
Sow right into the field by broadcasting in October or March to April. The plants thrive in any soil in a sunny location. No compost is necessary. After flowers fade in August, clear out the garden bed. If they remain longer, they will reseed themselves.
