Growing instructions
Sow in April in rows 25–30 cm apart. Do not add fresh compost. This crop loves deep soil that it can sink its root down into. Dig roots in late autumn and store in the cellar. Salsify is a true delicacy and should not be shunned for staining hands black. We recommend that you dry it and peel it then wash it afterwards.
