Asian vegetable, Mizuna 'Red Coral'
Brassica rapa var. Nipposinica
The Mizuna 'Red Coral' is an Asian vegetable with filigree red leaves.
It is very popular in Asian cuisine, where it is eaten raw in salads or sautéed in a pan with a drizzle of oil. It is low in calories, but very rich in vitamins and minerals.
It can be harvested from mid-June to early November. It grows to a height of 30 cm, making it easy to cultivate in pots.
Growing instructions
Sow from April to August directly into the field or in seedling trays. Transplant young plants at a distance of 40 ✕ 40 cm. Harvest spans from June to October. Some plants withstand winter in the field.
