Chili pepper, Habanero

Capsicum chinense
https://www.zollinger.bio/web/image/product.template/1139/image_1920?unique=25eb0ef

Habanero is one of the world’s hottest chillies and, luckily, it grows well in our temperate zone. It delights spice connoisseurs. The rather small fruits turn from green to bright red as they ripen in this variety. They go great in salsas, hot sauces, and other recipes where you need to give it a kick, but treat them with caution. For example, do not rub your eyes after slicing these peppers. The shrub-like plant grows up to 120 cm high and is an eye-catcher with its wide leaves.
