This up to 60cm tall plant develops abundant golden-yellow, marigold-like flowers from June of the second year of cultivation. It was used as a natural yellow dye until chemical dyes were introduced. In addition, yellow chamomile can naturalise and grow well along dry waysides and house walls and decorate them.
Sow in seed trays in June or in September right on the spot. Plant out seedlings at a distance of 40x40cm and in case of direct seed do not sow too densely.
