These turnips have an excellent taste and a bright white flesh. Old Swiss heirloom variety.
Sow from mid-July to mid-August in rows 30 cm apart. Later, thin plants out to 15–20 cm between individual plants. Because of their later planting date, turnips work well as a crop following early vegetables. The harvest takes place in September to November.
