Rye (annual hibernating) rye

Often used as green manure, so called green-cut-rye. Low demands for the soil thanks to low water and warmth requirements. Rye loosens up dense soil due to its deep roots and is considered an ideal rotation crop. The ingredients of this rye are at the ideal ratio and make it a valuable grain for bread baking.

Broad-cast seeding on harvested garden beds from end of September to end of October. Scythe before soil preparation in spring or let stand as a bread cereal.
