A cabbage variety which is extremely cold hardy and has a mild, good taste. The head is flat and dark-green. This savoy cabbage was long considered as THE cabbage variety, but is was displaced by hybrids. An ideal variety for the house garden.
Sowing from beginning of March to June. Bed out in beginning of June to beginning of July at a distance of 40x40cm, nutrient-rich soil. Harvest from October. A light winter protection prolongs the harvest season until spring time.
