Crispy fresh greens. In Nice, no meal is complete without "lou mesclun", as the locals call this mix traditionnally grown by Franciscan monks. The baby leaves are harvested regularly, and usually contain arugula, endives and leaf lettuces.
Sow from March to early September in rows with a distance of 15-20cm. Up to 2-3 harvests are possible. Easily grown on the balcony and in pots.
