This climbing vine is exceptionally beautiful. With its delicate cardinal-red flowers and decorative, feathery leaves, it charms flower lovers. Everyone asks, “What flower is that?” when they see it across the fence. It is largely unknown, yet everyone loves it at first sight. It will climb up a light post or on the wall to 2.5 metres. It blooms from August onwards late into autumn.
Sow in March to April into small pots. Transplant into the field from April to May at a distance of 40 cm in a sunny to partially shaded spot. Climbing requires an aide such as a lattice, a trellis, or cords along the wall.
