Very decorative Nero di Toscana. It is the most souther brother of the green kale. It is also frost-resistant. Its leaves are dark-green to black with a slightly blistered surface. Harvest the vitamin rich leaves from autumn to spring time. Use in soups and as a vegetable. Highly recommended. Height up to 200m.
Sow in the middle of May to end of June. Prick young plantlings. Plant out seedling in nutrient-rich soil (compost) at a distance of 40x40cm. Continuously harvest the lower leaves from autumn.
