Pretty long-stemmed lavender. Its fragrance and lilac colour remind us of the Provence. Its flowers make a lovely, calming tea. A dried bouquet of lavender protects against moths in the kitchen cabinet as well as in the wardrobe. A particularly good bee meadow. Height up to 60cm.
Plant in seed trays in March. Germinates unevenly. After about 10 weeks transfer the plants to a sunny location in the open land. (plant distance 40x40cm). Lavender needs limy soil, and in sour soils it does not grow. Trim back in the first summer before blooming starts, then it will flower even prettier in the following summer.
