A pretty basil with narrow, green leaves and dark-red stalks and blossoms. Pleasant aroma (a touch of cinnamon and Anise seed?) Very popular in the Asian cuisine. Height about 40cm. A great bee meadow.
Sow in boxes at a warm location from the middle of April. Transplant to 5x5 cm. Plant out from the 20th of May, plant distance 30x30cm (Attention slug damage). Sowing in flower pots for the balcony. Continuously harvest young shoots with a small pair of scissors. Frost-protected culture necessary.
