The ground cherry is the little sister of the Andean Blackberry. The fruits are stuck in small lampions and fall to the ground when mature. They taste, as the German name already suggest, like pine apples; for sure very exotic. The harvest starts in August until the first frost. Height about 40cm.
Sow at a warm location from beginning to end of March. Prick out young plantlings. Plant outdoor from the 20th of May. Plant distance 60cm in all directions. Rain cover not necessary.
