This very pretty Salvia species has blood-red flower spikes. It is suitable for planting in flower beds alone or mixed, or in pots on the balcony. As a cut flower, it is very attractive. In the bud stage, it has a particularly decorative pattern. Height reaches up to 60 cm.
Sow in late March into seedling trays in a warm place. Transplant into the open field at the end of April at a distance of 30 ✕ 30 cm. Large balcony pots work well also. Plant in a sunny location and keep moist.
