This local and well-preserved family variety from Twann was kindly entrusted to us to preserve. It is a Batavian lettuce, it is seeded like leaf lettuce and cut as needed. It forms a little head at the end of the season. It tastes magnificent and is easy to cultivate.
Sow inMarch and then again in September for an autumn crop. Space rows 10–15 cm apart. It yields 2–3 harvests per planting. It is convenient and efficient when intercropped with other vegetables.
