With its delicate colours, reminiscent of fine silk, this silk poppy captured our hearts. With the first rays of sun, the flowers open and draw the bees in to frolic on the blooms. It blooms from June to August and reaches a height of 60–80 cm. It should be cut at the bud stage for flower bouquets.
Sow in spring to a place in the garden you wish to beautify right into the field. Do not add compost. It thrives in any sunny location. It is bee friendly and attracts pollinators. Height reaches 60–80 cm depending on location.
